On the month of August Annette Ramos was featured in the Women to Watch section of the herRochester magazine (Democrat and Chronicle).
“For Rochester resident Annette Ramos, art is more than beauty or entertainment. Art is the vehicle to bring about education, social change and cultural awareness. As a teaching artist for the Rochester City School District, Ramos creatively enhances curriculum while abiding the New York State standards for education. For example, she might teach civil war studies by encouraging students to write monologues based on historical characters, or plan a debate from the north and south perspectives. “
