Last September 19th Margaret Sánchez received the Philanthropy Award from the Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF). Sánchez, a former board chair of the Community Foundation, received the Joe U. Posner Founders Award.
Margaret is one of the founders of Latinas Unidas.
RACF writes about the award on their website:
“Year in and year out, each recipient contributes to the promise of the greater Rochester region. We recognize the many hours and consistent financial support our awardees share with countless nonprofit organizations dedicated to the improvement of our families, our neighbors, our schools, and our villages, towns, cities, and counties.”
