Requirements for candidates to the Latinas Unidas Reconocimiento Awards

• Must be a Latina woman
• Resident of the Greater Rochester NY Area or surrounding 9-County region: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates.
• Cannot be a current member of the Latinas Unidas Board
• Has not been recognized for her efforts
• Has made a significant impact in the category for which she is being nominated and has overcome barriers
