¡Nuestra Cultura, Nuestra Salud!
Our Culture, Our Health
A Women’s Health Education Day
and Three Kings Day Celebration
Learn from health experts on women’s health topics, and the kids can enjoy fun, educational activities hosted by WXXI PBS KIDS and our amazing volunteers.
We’ll combine the joy of our traditions with vital health resources tailored for Latinas in our community. While children delight in age-appropriate activities, adults can engage in a health fair and attend inspiring talks from experts.
Maritza Buitrago, Alzheimer's Community Educator, will give the following presentation:
Women Who Care: Signs, Support, and Hope (Las Mujeres que Cuidan: Señales, Apoyo y Esperanza).
A brief talk for mothers and daughters about Alzheimer's, family caregiving, and available resources.
This is a free event, but registration is required. We want to ensure we have the age-appropriate gifts ready for children ages 0 to 15, brought by the Three Kings!
A heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, WXXI PBS KIDS, Toys for Tots, Pirate's Toy Fund, and Casa Campo Restaurant, for making this event possible.
We can't wait to celebrate with you!
