Latinas Unidas Scholarship

The Latinas Unidas Scholarship Fund is a donor advised fund created from generous donations.  It is administered by the Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley.

Latinas Unidas has awarded over $60,000 in scholarships to help local Latinas overcome financial barriers to attain formal training, certification or a college degree. 

Some of the eligibility requirements are to be a resident of one of the seven-counties of Genesee Valley: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Yates, Orleans, and Wayne; be a Latina and at least 25 years old and enrolled in training that leads to job and financial advancement or matriculated and enrolled in a higher education program; or be a high school graduate or hold a G.E.D.
