Raquel Singletary

Raquel Singletary has spent over 30 years turning advocacy into action for women, youth, and underserved communities. As President of Latinas Unidas, she champions Latina leadership, mentors women and girls, and builds meaningful community partnerships.

A bilingual Program Manager with the Alzheimer’s Association and trained medical interpreter, she connects families with culturally responsive dementia education and support. She previously doubled the size of a Latino senior center and expanded its services, earning its President’s Award. An ordained minister and Leadership Rochester Class of 2027 fellow, Raquel is also pursuing studies at Roberts Wesleyan University to further her commitment to serving others.

Driven by a genuine love for people, she notices what’s needed and brings people together to respond. Her vision is to build upon Latinas Unidas’ longstanding legacy by developing the next generation of Latina leaders, embracing innovation and technology, and keeping human connection at the heart of its mission.
