Join us this Thursday April 1st at 7:30 pm for a conversation with our guest Marlene Cortés, Language Access Advocate.

When people relocated from Puerto Rico to Rochester because of Hurricane María, they struggled to access information or resources because of their language barriers. It was then that Marlene, who was already advocating for Language Access resources, increased her advocacy efforts to help bring down the language barriers.

Come sit at our “Mesa” to hear Marlene’s personal story and learn more about language access in our area.
